  22.     The following list has been compiled with the help of the
  23.     wonderfully generous who associate with InterNet or UseNet.
  24.     I owe them many thanks and please continue to send information.
  25.     The amount of mail I recieve is enormous, and I appreciate the
  26.     responses.
  27.  
  28.     I have a few things to say about these BBS's in general.  So bear
  29.     with me, or skip ahead, but do take the time to read this.
  30.  
  31.     1.    These BBS's are provided as a service to anyone 
  32.         on Internet.  Not just you.  This means that you should 
  33.         try not to dominate these sites 
  34.         by staying logged in continuously or repeatedly trying to
  35.         gain access.
  36.     2.    While you may not directly pay for these services 
  37.         someone does.  These bbs's are run on someone else's
  38.         computer, which means that someone else pays to keep it
  39.         running, provide space and access, and fix problems.
  40.     3.    You are a guest, and please keep that in mind while
  41.         using these BBS's
  42.     
  43.     Okay, that wasn't so bad after all.  
  44.     
  45.     Most of these BBS`s offer services unique to BBS'ing. Some offer 
  46.     small scale versions of standard Internet sevices.  Keep in mind
  47.     that mail or articles posted on BBS's does not reach everyone in
  48.     the world, and if you can get to UseNet, you will problably find
  49.     better responses.  Most of the files on these BBS`s can be found
  50.     by anonymous FTP, so don't tie up the system downloading files if 
  51.     you have FTP.  Do be considerate on these BBS`s, some people aren't
  52.     using Telnet or Rlogin to get to these, some people still dial
  53.     numbers with modems at there homes.

  55.     I'm not going to say anymore, because you can figure most of
  56.     this out for yourselves.  Enjoy the list and write back to tell
  57.     me about these BBS`s.  I want to add as much info to these as
  58.     possible.   A little abstract, such as services, will be
  59.     great.

  62.     first connecting to UK.AC.NSFNET-RELAY.TELNET or
  63.     PAD.UK.AC.NSFNET-RELAY.TELNET.  Likewise, users of internet can
